Summer Focus Enrichment provides a unique opportunity for students to experience a taste of life at UC Berkeley and UCLA while developing critical academic skills. Students live on campus and split their day between Education Unlimited's proven curriculum and excursions to explore UC Berkeley, UCLA, the surrounding city, and the greater San Francisco Bay and Los Angeles areas.
This program is designed for summer-long enrollment, so students can choose between 2-week, 4-week, or 6-week stays, while constantly experiencing new challenges and possibilities.

Students who stay over between our UC Berkeley and UCLA weeks may add a chaperoned flight from Berkeley to UCLA to their camp package.
Education Unlimited brings our record of student safety and academic excellence to provide each student with their first taste of college life while ensuring parents' peace of mind.
During each two-week session, students will have the opportunity to select one area of interest. Courses are organized into three tracks. Students will have classes for half the day and then enjoy fun site-seeing and cultural experiences for the remainder of the day.

Students' time spent on their focus program is balanced with fun and exciting excursions, examples of possible outings are:
Tours of local colleges and universities
Sightseeing at Fisherman's Wharf or Santa Monica Pier
Sporting events and museums
Fun at local amusement parks
Movie nights
Hiking in the Berkeley Hills and Marin County
Overnight: Overnight campers check-in after lunch on the first day of camp and check out before lunch on the last day of camp. All meals and shared dorm accommodations are provided.

Our instructors are chosen for their experience and knowledge in the areas they teach. We select the best of the best in communicators, leaders, innovative designers and creative storytellers. With a focus on academics, we look for instructors that value education and instill the love of learning into our campers.
Balanced
Play based hands-on learning can be a little like walking a tight rope.
In addition to knowledge of the subjects they teach we select staff who can walk the line between creative genius and hilarious mayhem. They make each and every learning experience hands-on, interactive and a little zany.
All About Safety
Many of our staff our education professionals who regularly receive 1st Aid and CPR training. Those that do not already have their certification when they come to us complete a course prior to camp.

Camp Community - Using play based exercises and a deep understanding of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs Camp staff learn to build camp into a thriving, supportive family of learners that share respect, understanding and joy.
Behavior Guidance - Employing best practices in youth development psychology camp staff practice effective behavior guidance techniques to maintain a camp filled with happy safe campers.
Effective Supervision - Safety comes first. All staff are trained for emergencies, but by first practicing effective supervision we head off possible safety issues far in advance.
Purposeful Play - Play is a very important and constant part of Camp Brainy Bunch.
