In Neuroanatomy, students will learn the anatomy and physiology of various systems in the brain and apply what they know to fictitious neurological patients. Specifically, we will focus on the cerebral cortex, various sub-cortical structures, the visual system, somatosensory system, and the motor system in the brain and spinal cord.
The culminating event on Friday will be a case-studies test where students will act like neurologists to predict where a lesion in the brain or spinal cord is in a person, as well as acting like neuroradiologists in order to predict the symptoms and prognosis of patients with particular nervous system lesions.

Camp Brainy Bunch Staff are...
Genius!
Our instructors are chosen for their experience and knowledge in the areas they teach. We select the best of the best in communicators, leaders, innovative designers and creative storytellers. With a focus on academics, we look for instructors that value education and instill the love of learning into our campers.
Balanced
Play based hands-on learning can be a little like walking a tight rope.
In addition to knowledge of the subjects they teach we select staff who can walk the line between creative genius and hilarious mayhem. They make each and every learning experience hands-on, interactive and a little zany.
All About Safety
Many of our staff our education professionals who regularly receive 1st Aid and CPR training. Those that do not already have their certification when they come to us complete a course prior to camp.
Growing Camp Professionals (Training)
In addition to the awesomeness that each staff brings we grow them even further. These are some of the values and skills we train into each of our team:
Camp Community - Using play based exercises and a deep understanding of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs Camp staff learn to build camp into a thriving, supportive family of learners that share respect, understanding and joy.
Behavior Guidance - Employing best practices in youth development psychology camp staff practice effective behavior guidance techniques to maintain a camp filled with happy safe campers.
Effective Supervision - Safety comes first. All staff are trained for emergencies, but by first practicing effective supervision we head off possible safety issues far in advance.
Purposeful Play - Play is a very important and constant part of Camp Brainy Bunch. Whether we are playing in the classroom to learn something new or on the playground at lunch, staff lead play serves to strengthen our camp community, build team support, and ensure that every camper has the chance to act a little crazy each day.Camp Brainy Bunch Staff are...
