Coed Neuroanatomy Camp - 9th - 10th grade

New for the 2016 Summer Season -- 9th & 10th grade Co-ed  Neuronatomy science camp

After more than a decade of successfully hosting our all girls science program, Education Unlimited is excited to launch this new Co-Ed Science institute for rising 9th and 10th graders.

Education Unlimited launched our popular Neuroanatomy major in summer of 2015 to incredible student and parent feedback.   This year in addition to our all girl neuronatomy sessions at UC Berkeley and Stanford, we will be offering two new Co-Ed sessions.

The 9th & 10th grade overnight science camps offer students with a passion for science the opportunity to live, learn and make lifelong friends on the campuses of UCLA and Georgetown University

Neuronatomy: Learn the anatomy and physiology of various systems in the brain and apply what you know to fictitious neurological patients. Specifically, we will focus on the cerebral cortex, various sub-cortical structures, the visual system, somatosensory system, and the motor system in the brain and spinal cord. The culminating event on Friday will be a case studies test where you will “act” like neurologists to predict where a lesion in the brain or spinal cord is in a person, as well as “acting” like neuroradiologists in order to predict the symptoms and prognosis of patients with particular nervous system lesions.

The Staff at our science camps is made up of a fantastic group of role models who are teaching and/or studying science and are excited to share their passion with our campers.
