Rhonda McCoy, USD Sally Ride Science Camp Director
Rhonda obtained her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from North Carolina A&T State University. After graduating she decided she wanted to become a high school teacher. Rhonda dedicated herself to teaching chemistry and physics and strongly believes that “Our Kids are Worth Whatever It Takes”. After three years of teaching it was time to go back to graduate school. Rhonda is currently a full time graduate student working on a PhD in Analytical Chemistry at Howard University in Washington DC. Rhonda has taught at the Sally Ride Science Camps for a few years and will this year be directing the USD sessions.
