Education Unlimited - academic summer camps and pre-college summer programs

**NOTE: Our Group Flight can only be purchased until 25 days prior to the start of the respective tour!** If you would like us to handle your flight arrangements for the tour, we offer two convenient options. * For students traveling from the San Francisco Bay Area, we offer a chaperoned flight to and from the East Coast tour. * For students traveling outside of the SF Bay Area, we can arrange for your flights from many major airports (but these other flights do not have a chaperone from Education Unlimited). **CHAPERONED GROUP FLIGHT** We only offer a chaperone on the group flight departing from the Bay Area, and only on the group flight from the final destination returning to the Bay Area. For example, there is a chaperone on the East Coast College Tour flight from the Bay Area to Boston, and also from the final destination of Washington DC to the Bay Area, but not on any flight booked from Philadelphia back to the Bay Area or any other airports along the route of the tour. Once you select the group flight option you are obligated for the group flight fee, and any request to be removed from the group flight without forfeiting the optional group flight fee once you have selected the group flight is solely at the discretion of Education Unlimited. **For Fall trips to East Coast colleges (September - December):** The flight will leave the Bay Area in the early to mid afternoon, with arrival to the East Coast late in the day to minimize time away from school. We may offer returns out of cities other than the final destination for students who need to cut time on the trip short so as to get back to school (example - Philadelphia), but any such returns would of course not have a chaperone on the flight. **For Winter, Spring and Summer trips to East Coast colleges (January - August):** For students choosing the trip with the group flight, it will leave one of the three main Bay Area airports first thing in the morning on the day of departure (Oakland, San Francisco, or San Jose). The flight will often leave as early as 6 am. The return flight will be out of the final destination city (Washington DC - DCA in most case) and we will also be able to drop all students needing to fly on their own to other destinations at the DCA airport in the late afternoon of the final day. By paying the additional fee for the group flight at least 30 days before departure, we guarantee that fee is all that you need to pay to be on the group flight regardless of what the final amount of the ticket costs, as Education Unlimited accepts responsibility for finding a flight within the flight budget or making up the difference! If you have not paid in full at least 30 days before the trip begins, Education Unlimited cannot guarantee availability and pricing for the group flight. The group flight will be finalized in the last few weeks leading up to the tour, usually two to four weeks before departure. In some cases we have found that pricing and flight time options actually improve as the departure date gets closer, depending upon seasonal demand and other issues. Therefore, Education Unlimited agrees to finalize the group flight details a minimum of 7 days before departure, though in most cases it will be done between 2 and 4 weeks prior. **FLIGHTS FROM OTHER MAJOR CITIES** Education Unlimited can generally honor our group flight pricing from other major airports. For East Coast college tours we can usually honor our pricing from San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Portland and Seattle. If you select this option you will only get a choice of departing airport from the list of airports that we offer service from, and all other choices of departure time, airline and connections (generally just 1, but up to 2 per direction) will all be at the sole discretion of Education Unlimited. If you choose the group flight option less than 30 days before the start of the trip there may be additional costs for ticketing. If there are additional costs related to signing up less than 30 days in advance of the trip, you will be alerted to any additional fees and be given the option to downgrade to the tour without group flight if you don't want to agree to the additional fees, in which case you can still go on the trip, but will simply meet up with the group at the Boston airport after making your own travel arrangements.
